Fishing places like Agulhas i move around a lot, needless to say always tackled up and always in the back of my mind is a loose dangling hook or too tight around guide which could mean trouble..so came across this neat little hook keeper from fuji..

Looks quite cool...
I use a much cheaper system though.... doesn't need to be removed. Stays on the rod permanently.
Plain cable tie with a solid or split ring!
-
Reefman - How many cable ties do you have? Must agree it is the best invention since slided bread
-
And Reefs, that works with boat rods as well!!!!
Good one!

A good idea, beats using a runner/guide.Rod builders used to put hook holders on a bit but you don't see them as much these days.
