I had recently some custom work done on my Assassin Amia 11ft Spinning Rod.
The original rod had a light blue flash and the blank had a layer of clear lacquer on it and was fitted with very small micro rod
guides. The rod blank was totally cleaned and all the rod guides was removed and new rod guide spacing was work out. As i’m
going to be spinning with Braid the rod builder decided to go with the K-Series (anti-fouling) Concept guides from Fuji. Fuji
spends more than $2 million in developing the K-Series Rod guides. Here is the Link, very interesting how the K-Series guides
work.

Hi Lenny.
It cost me R650. Our weak Rand played a big role here ..... but yea the cost of 3 Iron Candy's are R210.00 that I donated to
the sea and laying some where on the sea bottom. I cast the of ... wind knots :-( You can call Craig Neil,he's the guy who
did the custom work on my rod and he imported all his rod guides from USA. Here's his information.

Thanks Carll , well I thought they are even more expensive that 650 . I suppose with the price of Lures its notting to upgrade the guides , as to not loose lures ...

Hi Lenny

Hey guys lets not get too heavy here .
PArt and parcel of forums like UA , are to let the general 'fishing public' of a long list of things , but also in this case 'bad service ' or what ever you want to call it .
From my side theres no bad vibes , I just went elsewhere .
I dont know any of the the above mentioned Builders , have seen work they have done .

Wow...
Come now guys... Play nice..
there may have been reasons for unanswered mails etc... maybe Craig was away or something...before we jump to conclusions, and affect someone's business lets give them the benefit of the doubt...
Both Koos and Craig do great work...
Each of us may have a preference, and so be it...
