short series on the line to line knots war may the best knot win. Would also be go to hear what you think of the knots showed  :dunno:

Thanks Mike, amazing result for the Palomar knot, in one of the old series they show a figure 8 knot, it is not (excuse the pun) like we tie it

The double uni looks like the double grinner and it is what I generally use, a strong knot and streamlined, the J knot looks bulky, I will tie a couple and see what it looks like

Dodger was looking at the same thing looks a bit bulky but could you post pic of the knot when you done and your thoughts on the knot

It is a figure of 8 knot type which is a bit 'faffy', because you have to pass the whole length of the leader through the loops, The double grinner or double fig 8 is easier to tie and at least equal in knot strength
