Will this be a good rod to pair with the FX500A for ultra light fishing?

Willie I have the 6" and trying to throw 1.5oz is like throwing a brick so I reckon the 5,6 will be right for micro fishing

Willie, I dont like using this rod, to flimsy, rather look at the Berkley Cherrywood range.

kings were recently selling the team daiwa sol for around r500 (normally retails for 1200). i bought one. really great little stick.
light enough
long enough (i dont like anything less than 7ft)
one piece
no lure clip

if you want to look at a 6-0 or 6-6, i have an elbe blue crystal which is sweet. just too light for my applications so if AM is too long or heavy, consider the elbe. value for money.
