Sometimes the small carp bugged us while going for Vlei's and Dwarfs so we caught quite a few like this..

WK will give it a go and see what i can come up with. Here is allot marine fish here. My smallest micro i have caught was a spotted Rockod about 5-6 cm.

So i set off yesterday after work to go and get some small gear got some small hooks etc ( and a new rod ) :hehe: Im not sure if these will count as micros as they are a bit on the large side. And most of these species im not sure what the names are :dunno:

F&C, any tackle shop that has a fly fishing section will have small hooks for the guys that tie  flies, all sorts of small sizes there and you will come right, I bought size 24's from a fly shop before hehehe, damn try puting a bait on that!

I have enjoy this type of fish, and I often do it and have great fun especially of the rocks with the kids and as my crew will attest, often by accident off the boat as well.  :rotfl

I do however have a concern and that is small hooks do big damage to small fish as they often end up swollowing the hook which leads to gill damage.

How can I best avoid this while indulging in this activity and is it an environmentally sound practice?
