Tackle Advice - Henties
« on: June 14, 2025, 02:02:18 PM »
Hi all,

Please help with suggestions for a set up.
Fishing St Nowhere for 2 weeks in Feb 2026.
I have Saragosa 6000/8000/10000 reels.

Would the 6000 paired with a Loomis Arcpelago  12ft 1.5 - 4oz  be sufficient for cob, steenies and smaller shark?
What other rod/rods should I look at for the trip please.

Thanks

You probably need one heavier rod in case of heavy drift.Something that can throw a 6oz grapnel.
