Well the Missus and I spoilt ourselves with a Fishing Trip up to Zambia, what a way to bring in the New Year....
All I can say is that the Missus showed me what for, she totally obliterated me with her superb catches.
The Mighty Zambezi is totally awe inspiring!

In total we spent 4 days fishing,

03.01.2018 - Wednesday
Michelle
,
- 13.5lbs Tiger
- 7lbs Tiger
- 15lbs Tiger
- 11lbs Barbel

Clayton,
Blanked.....

04.01.2018 - Thursday
Michelle
,
- 4lbs Tiger

Clayton,
- 8lbs Tiger
- 11lbs Tiger

05.01.2018 - Friday
Michelle
,
- 5lbs Tiger
- 14lbs Tiger
- 6.5lbs Tiger
- 12lbs Tiger
- 10lbs Tiger

Clayton,
Blanked....

06.01.2018 - Saturday
Michelle
,
- 6lbs Tiger
-11lbs Tiger

Clayton,
- 4lbs Tiger
- 10lbs Tiger

Having previously fished Jozini in the past years for Tigerfish, the Zambian Tigers really outdone themselves.
My Missus is totally hooked, we had not even landed back in S.A. and she was already checking bookings for another return trip.

Credit must be given to the Lodge as well, superb establishment, good food and awesome hospitality.
We will definitely be going back soon.....

 :tgr: :fshn:

 (clap)great catch

Well its been a few months of Hard Graft, but we are edging closer and closer to the December Break.....
I honestly Can't Wait!!

I am fortunate enough to be in a position whereby I can take the Missus and myself on a Tiger Fishing Trip back to Sekoma Island Lodge in early January 2019...(03.01.2019 to 08.01.2019)
I am really looking forward to it...

I have already prepped all the fishing gear and made up a whole whack of new Tiger Traces.
Will definitely post a report when we get back.

Curious to know if there is are any other "Ultimate Angling" members going up around this period??

Tight Lines & Cheers for now...

Evening Ismael,

Sorry for the delayed response....

For the wife and I, for a total of 5 nights, itís costing in the region of R38000.00

Sekoma Island offer fully inclusive package deals which include flights, transfers, accommodation and meals....(you will not go hungry)
This also includes a Fishing Guide, Boat and 20 liters of fuel per day...

The only cost to you would be your Bar Tab. (Their drinks are reasonably priced considering...) and if you exceed the permissible 20 liter fuel allowance.
I would take some extra cash with to buy fresh Bulldogs(bait) everyday from the locals.

We take all our own fishing gear, however you can hire from the lodge if you wanted to, not sure what they charge though....
They have basic kit, nothing to fancy, does the job.

Hope this helps....
Look them up, well worth it
