Fishing in Australia
« on: April 10, 2017, 02:55:05 am »
Hi UA members - Just want to share my catches so far in Australia.
Most anglers using lures trying to catch the famous Barramundi
The first week was unsuccessful, due to the floods. Yes I was here while the Cyclone hit the coast- I did not see much of the cyclone myself - We went to Sunshine coast and miss the view of the cyclone winds and heavy rain. Not much damage was done at the (Beyone island) Gladstone  that's where I am on the moment. Bad situation at Rock Hampton. Big flooding and a lot of damages due to the floooding

We manage to catch a few fish while trying  to catch the Barramundi here is some of the photos
I I managed to catch 3 Barramundi today.  What a pleasure to fight those fish - all fish caught was released safely
1.Silver bream same as our Perch ( Slimjannie)
2. Fingermark ( Lutjanus johnii )
3. Catfish same as in South Africa also the dangerous spines

Barramundi

The Barramundi will jump out of the water as soon as they are hooked.
