New rod for wife.
« on: June 07, 2023, 11:49:24 PM »
Hi Guys, I am looking at buying the wife a new heavy rod for shark fishing, I cant find any guidance on the net wrt ladies angling and what I should look at. So I'm going with my gut feeling of getting her a Okuma precision 14.6ft 6 -8 oz, please give some feedback and thaughts on this idea if you have advice or just your thaughts will be inreresting to hear please, also keep in mind that we go down to the coast maybe three times a year to fish a couple of days every time, so I also wont be buying top brands.
Thanks in advance.

The Okuma is a nice rod, won't be disappointed.  If on a Budget have you checked the Adrenalin Spin Triple X 14ft  36T Carbon 5 – 7oz
I hand one in my hands few months ago and was quite surprised, Lekker backbone. Just a spanner. Do not know how it will hold-up..  :brnz:
