« on: December 20, 2022, 09:09:36 AM »
Hi everybody!
This year I go again to Cape Town. Two years ago I discovered camp in Kogel Bay where I saw some people fishing there(bait fishing). There is huge sandy beach and when the sea is peaceful I thought to try spinning there.Does somebody has experience or any advice??Thanks! We come there arround end of January.

For those who don't know, like myself, Kogel Bay is just south of Gordons Bay, on the east side of False Bay. I had to look this up on Google maps. Good luck with the fishing.

I have never fished that stretch, but Hangklip could be worth a try with your spinning setup.

That stretch is known for big steenbra early morning and sunset into night... Spinning in the early morning could land you the odd Elf...
