Hoping for some insights regarding fishing in the Natures Valley estuary system and surrounding areas. I am wanting to spend some time teaching my girls to fish and would appreciate any advice...

Can we target Spotted Grunters?
Any idea on how much it has rained in the Natures Valley area and whether the estuary is opening into the sea at the moment?
We will be in the area from middle December to the first week of January.
