Hi guys
So Saturday had a chance to do some fishing.
Managed this nice size Shad on a 5oz pyramid sinker and shad trace with a whole sardine as bait. Caught it about 3pm.
Gave a good fight, for a fish of this size.
Lost a few hug sized ones as they where biting through a .8mm leader attached to the shad trace. There seems to be quiet a few big shad around on certain days but they seem to be on a slow bite. Waited about 2 hours this fish.
Caught it the same spot I hooked the bue stingray.
Trusty shad pro x rod and Mitchell reel did the job.
Second PB for me after the stingray.
